Our scope of work & how we function

• Call for project proposals, open to cooperatives, small businesses, non-profit organizations and municipalities in Lebanon.

• Provision of funding, advice and support to grant recipients following a rigorous selection process.

• Direct provision of equipment and trainings to local groups to help them start or expand a business.

• A focus on economic development in order to improve the standard of living of individuals and their families and by that, the local socio-economic fabric.

• The association is initially financed by the own funds of its founding members. Apart from small structural costs incurred by the local team, all donations received will be used for the realization of projects, which will in turn contribute to the improvement of the Lebanese civil society.

Women are associates in their relationships, homes, societies and countries as well. They are the core of healthy stabilized life as the whole world have shifted their perspective about the role of women in the business world, so as Lebanon. The empowerment of women contributes to supporting their economic independence and thus the actual moral, and supports their access to a greater number of opportunities and positions, and allows positive investment of their capabilities in all political, social and economic fields and their implications, which is reflected in the areas of production and creativity in the general economy. In the context of transition Lebanon is going through, doors are opening for women to empower themselves with the help of social and cultural actors. We motivate and fund all projects related to creating entrepreneurial mind set among women in Lebanon and will determine the needs in terms of characteristic of the rural labor market.
